Case Study: Scaling Triangl from Six Figures to Eight on Shopify

Triangl Shopify growth case study, scaling from six figures to eight figures at 18 percent annual growth

Most agency case studies show a redesign snapshot. This one covers five years of P&L responsibility- the storefront, the ads, and the creative for one of the largest DTC bikini brands in the world.

The starting point

In 2016 we started with Triangl, a leading direct-to-consumer bikini brand from Australia, at six figures in online revenue. They needed a US-based partner to run their Shopify store end to end. The engagement ran five years.

For an Australian brand selling into the US, the partner question mattered. One team owning the store meant consistent brand execution and no vendor relay across time zones- Triangl focused on product, we drove the digital side.

What we actually ran

We managed Triangl's Shopify storefront and the entire digital marketing operation: paid on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, plus content production- product videos and photography, with shoots in Miami.

One team, all of it.

The time difference never became a problem. We answered almost instantly regardless of the hour, and that pace is what kept a store on the other side of the planet moving at full speed.

The results

Triangl's online sales grew from six figures to eight figures under the engagement, at 18%+ annual growth.

"Under [Liquid Lemon's] management of Triangl's eCommerce store, online sales have grown to 8 figures in revenue," wrote Erin Deering, co-founder of Triangl, in a verified Clutch review. "Their ability to execute whatever is asked of them has been impressive."

She rated the cost 5/5- in her words, the ROI exceeded the price.

What made it work

Storefront, ads, and creative owned by one team is a flywheel- creative feeds the ads, ad data feeds the storefront, and nothing gets lost in vendor handoffs.

Creative velocity was the actual growth lever, the same principle behind the JBL ad with Aaron Judge that lifted sales 35%. Producing and iterating content fast kept Triangl ahead of trends instead of reacting to them. And instant communication across time zones is what made a five-year engagement feel like an in-house team.

What this engagement looks like today

The Triangl model now runs as our growth retainer. Brands start with the $9,500, 30-day custom storefront sprint- the same build model behind our Gymshark redesign and beverage storefront case study- then continue on a monthly growth engagement covering ongoing development, landing pages, and performance work. The Triangl engagement ran $10,000 - $15,000 per month, not including ad spend; full pricing context in how much a Shopify store costs.
