01 · Phase One

Build the DTC Foundation.

$12,500
Website + lifecycle email included

Volgin already has the product, the story, and the science. Phase One turns that into a digital experience capable of explaining the difference, earning trust, and converting customers.

Fully custom Shopify redesign and development, built around Volgin rather than adapted from a prebuilt theme.

A new homepage narrative that immediately communicates what Volgin is, why its fermentation process matters, and how customers can buy.

Conversion-focused product pages that make the science easy to understand without watering it down, incorporating process, research, CFU counts, awards, reviews, and key product proof.

A clearer shopping architecture and complete supporting site experience: products organized around customer needs, health goals, and protocols, plus About, Our Science, Our Process, FAQ, Contact, Education, Collections, and policy pages.

Subscription integrated into the buying experience: one-time versus subscribe-and-save, cadence, flexibility, and subscriber benefits. We recommend Stay.ai.

A smarter cart and post-purchase experience: bundles, relevant upsells, fulfillment messaging, express checkout, and Thank You and Order Status pages upgraded early.

Reviews and social proof placed strategically, using Okendo to reinforce the moments where customers are most likely to hesitate.

Practitioner Hub V1 included. A gated hub inside Shopify customer accounts where approved practitioners log in to access protocols, documents, and Practitioner Club resources, with a public application page and approval flow so Volgin controls who receives access.

On-site capture systems for email, waitlist, national availability, and back-in-stock demand.

Fulfillment clarity throughout the buying journey, including weekly order cutoffs, shipping expectations, and delivery timing before customers reach checkout.

Complete product architecture, including variants, pack sizes, bundles, and protocol configurations, structured cleanly for both the customer experience and Volgin’s internal systems.

Complete measurement and behavioral analytics, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, verified conversion events, Triple Whale for server-side attribution and blended reporting, and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings.

Mobile-first performance and technical cleanup, including image optimization, app rationalization, speed work, and cross-device and cross-browser QA.

SEO equity protected throughout the migration, including URL preservation, metadata, canonicals, structured data, and launch redirects.

Founder-led execution, with Nick directly leading design and development and Nick and Andrew available throughout the sprint in a shared Slack channel.

Structured with Odoo in mind. SKUs, product data, tags, and metafields kept clean and consistent, with Shopify’s handoff points documented so Volgin’s Odoo implementation team starts from an organized commerce foundation instead of reverse-engineering the build.

Timeline: 30 days from kickoff. Design and development run in parallel, built directly in Shopify from day one. The site is developed on a duplicated theme, so nothing changes on the live store until Volgin approves the final launch.

What we need from Volgin: Brand assets, approved claims and scientific language, product photography, content direction, and confirmed fulfillment requirements.

Reviews and approvals: Structured review points are built into the sprint. Volgin approves the direction, the design, and the final build before anything goes live.

After launch: 30 days of website support are included. Ongoing website support is available afterward at $3,500/month, covering continued development, updates, maintenance, and fixes on a month-to-month basis. Growth services, including paid acquisition, campaigns, and CRO, are scoped separately.

02 · Lifecycle

Turn Interest Into Relationship.

Included
No separate lifecycle fee

The website creates the buying experience. Lifecycle marketing continues the relationship before and after the first purchase. We will build the core Klaviyo ecosystem required for launch, conversion, education, replenishment, retention, and subscription.

Welcome: introduce the Volgin story, philosophy, and product difference while moving new subscribers toward their first purchase.

Cart + checkout recovery: bring high-intent customers back into the buying journey without relying solely on discounts.

Subscription lifecycle: charge reminders, failed-payment recovery, card-expiration messaging, and cancellation-save experiences incorporating pause and swap options.

Replenishment: communication timed around expected consumption and pack size rather than generic calendar intervals.

Education: translate Volgin’s fermentation process and scientific differentiation into customer-friendly lifecycle content using approved claims.

National waitlist + back in stock: capture demand Volgin cannot fulfill today and convert it when inventory or distribution expands.

Practitioner + referral: establish dedicated communication for doctors, dietitians, advocates, and customers referring others into the brand.

Review generation: request feedback after the customer has had enough time to actually experience the product.

Complete creative system: Branded order and shipping emails, plus editable Figma files for lifecycle email with reusable components, responsive states, and campaign templates Volgin keeps using after launch.

Built for what comes next: Everything is built inside Volgin-owned accounts and structured so future systems can plug into the lifecycle ecosystem without requiring the work to be rebuilt.

Built directly in Klaviyo: Liquid Lemon uploads the complete creative system into Klaviyo and builds out every flow and automation end to end, inside Volgin’s own account.

Third-party costs: Shopify, Klaviyo, Stay.ai, Okendo, and any additional applications are billed directly to Volgin. Required software is finalized during the first week of the sprint.

03 · Phase Two

Build the Professional Channel.

$9,500
Begins after Phase One

Once the consumer experience and Practitioner Hub V1 are live, Phase Two extends the same brand and commerce system into full practitioner ordering and wholesale without slowing down the DTC launch.

Practitioner portal V2: the Phase One hub expands into full practitioner ordering and special pricing, inside Volgin’s existing customer account environment rather than another login system.

Wholesale account experience: a dedicated B2B buying journey with trade pricing, ordering, reordering, and account history.

Wholesale catalog: professional pricing and merchandising separated cleanly from the consumer storefront.

Application + approval flow, expanded: the Phase One approval process grows to cover wholesale accounts, with application states and messaging throughout onboarding.

VIP and practitioner status: clear status visibility inside the existing customer-account experience.

Bulk ordering: case quantities and quick reorders built for clinics and stores that buy on repeat.

Why this is Phase Two: The program itself launches in Phase One. We pulled the application page, approval flow, and Practitioner Hub into the 30-day sprint to meet Volgin’s launch goals. Phase Two simply switches on the commerce layer, practitioner ordering, trade pricing, and wholesale, starting after Phase One.

Payment: $12,500 is due when Phase One begins. $9,500 is due only when Phase Two begins. Payment can be made by wire, ACH, or credit card. Credit-card payments carry a 3% processing fee. Each phase is staffed and resourced independently at kickoff.

Ownership: Volgin owns the final Figma files, Shopify implementation, custom code, project assets, and account credentials created for the engagement. Everything is built inside Volgin-owned accounts, with nothing licensed back or dependent on Liquid Lemon after handoff.

Platform dependencies: The exact practitioner and wholesale implementation depends on whether Volgin runs on Shopify Advanced or Shopify Plus, along with customer-account configuration and final operational requirements. Those dependencies are confirmed before Phase Two design begins.

Framework

The hard parts,
already built.

After building the same features over and over, why bill you for work we've already done? The intense engineering behind cart drawers, upsell logic, and headers lives inside Shopify frameworks we developed ourselves, battle-tested across years of client builds. We take that framework and completely custom code everything about it for your brand.

Because the foundation is already engineered, your budget goes where it matters: the front end. Every page, section, and interaction your customers touch starts from a blank canvas, built in custom code around your brand guide and references, then elevated with our own creative direction.
