What is a conversion-rate value calculator?

It translates a change in your store conversion rate into dollars. You enter your monthly traffic, your current conversion rate, and your average order value, then a target rate, and it shows the extra revenue that lift produces on the traffic you already have. Because the traffic and ad spend stay the same, almost all of that added revenue is incremental margin.

Why small conversion lifts are worth so much

Conversion rate multiplies against every visitor and every order, so a fraction of a percentage point compounds fast. A store doing 40,000 sessions a month at an $85 AOV earns roughly $28,000 a year for each additional 0.1 percentage point of conversion. Two or three tenths of a point, the kind of gain a cleaner storefront and checkout routinely deliver, often outweighs a quarter worth of extra ad budget.

How this is calculated

Monthly revenue is visitors times conversion rate times average order value. The added revenue is your visitors times the difference between your target and current rates, times AOV, annualized over twelve months. It is a planning estimate: real lift depends on the change you make and how it lands with your specific traffic.

FAQ

Everything you need to know.

What is a good conversion rate for a DTC brand?
Most DTC stores convert between 1.5% and 3.5%, with strong ones above 3%. There is no universal target, because it depends on traffic quality, price point, and category. The useful question is not whether your rate is good in the abstract, but what moving it up even a few tenths of a point is worth, which is what this calculator shows.
How much revenue does a 1% conversion increase add?
It depends on your traffic and AOV. On 40,000 monthly visitors at an $85 AOV, moving from 2% to 3% conversion adds about $408,000 a year. Enter your own numbers above for your figure. The point is that conversion multiplies against every visitor, so even sub-1% gains are large.
What actually improves conversion rate?
Clearer product pages, faster load times, a simpler checkout, trust signals, and a store that works well on mobile are the reliable levers. Paid traffic quality matters too. A redesign that fixes the storefront experience usually moves conversion more than incremental ad spend does.
Is added revenue from conversion all profit?
Close to it. Because you are converting traffic you already paid for, there is no extra acquisition cost, so the added revenue carries your normal product margin with little incremental spend. That is why conversion work has such a high return compared with buying more traffic.
