Build the foundation. Then scale it.
We see the partnership in two phases. First, we build the ecommerce and retention infrastructure Coda needs to convert more customers and increase the value of every customer acquired. Then, once that foundation is live, Liquid Lemon steps in as Coda’s ongoing growth partner across acquisition, retention, conversion, and ecommerce.
$9,500 for a fully custom Shopify experience and $7,500 for the complete Klaviyo retention system, including the subscription lifecycle. Designed, developed, tested, and launched by Liquid Lemon in approximately 30 to 45 days.
An integrated growth partnership across paid acquisition, email, retention, CRO, landing pages, and ongoing ecommerce strategy, beginning when the new site goes live. Month to month. No long-term commitment.
The Storefront.
Original UX/UI design and custom front-end development, from first direction through QA and launch.
Scope of Work
Custom Shopify design and development, from initial UX/UI direction through development, QA, and launch.
Core site pages, including homepage, collections, custom product display pages, About, Contact, and FAQ.
Storewide components and utility pages: navigation, footer, search, 404 page, and legal-page implementation.
Custom slide-out cart with merchandising for upsells and bundles, where supported by the selected applications.
Accelerated checkout configuration, including Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and Google Pay, subject to provider eligibility.
Subscription integration with one-time and Subscribe & Save, plus reviews, on your current platforms.
Responsive, mobile-first development, including front-end performance, image optimization, and app consolidation.
Analytics implementation, including Meta Pixel and Google Analytics configuration and verification.
Two rounds of revisions per page during the design-review stage, with structured approval points throughout.
Project oversight from Nick and Andrew in Slack, with Nick leading design and development directly.
30 days of post-launch support: technical support, bug fixes, and small additions to the Shopify site.
Coda will own the final custom code, approved design files, and creative assets.
Email & Retention.
Every flow, including the full subscription lifecycle, designed in Figma and implemented directly inside Coda’s Klaviyo account. Nothing is handed over as a file for someone else to build.
Scope of Work
Welcome Flow: six emails introducing the brand and driving first-order conversion.
Abandoned Cart and Checkout Flows: two sequences of six emails, recovering shoppers who leave without ordering.
Post-Purchase Flow: eight to ten emails covering the first order, product education, and cross-sell.
Winback, browse abandonment, and replenishment flows, bringing back lapsed customers and driving reorders.
Subscription lifecycle flows: upcoming charge, shipment, skip, swap, and failed payment, all styled to the brand.
Custom campaign master template designed for Coda and structured for future campaigns.
Klaviyo implementation, including onsite forms, email capture, and list-growth infrastructure.
Transactional email styling for branded order and shipping communications.
Editable Figma source files for all email creative, provided for continued in-house use.
Cancellation save flow, offering pause, a change of cadence, or a swap before a subscription ends.
The first 180 days.
Build the foundation, establish the economics of the business, find what works, and progressively put more resources behind it.
Build. The Shopify site and Klaviyo system designed, developed, and launched, with subscriptions and tracking live before spend runs.
Find the signal. Controlled paid acquisition, baseline economics set, creative and messaging tested against real customer data.
Scale what works. Budget shifts to the audiences, creative, offers, and landing pages with the strongest economics, away from the rest.
Build the flywheel. Acquisition, conversion, subscription, and retention reinforcing one another, with the next roadmap set by data.
Every month informs the next. We review acquisition, conversion, retention, revenue, spend, and contribution together and reallocate effort toward the highest-leverage opportunities. The roadmap follows the data, not a preset checklist.
Growth is not just media buying. If the constraint is creative, conversion, retention, merchandising, pricing, the offer, or the customer experience itself, that becomes the priority. The goal is a stronger business that can profitably support more spend.
More scale requires more output.
We’re intentionally starting at $7,500 a month so Coda can keep more capital focused on customer acquisition, creative, inventory, and building the brand. As the business scales, the workload scales with it, and the partnership expands alongside the business.
Below $100K a month
Meta and Google management, four Klaviyo campaigns a month, core flow optimization, prioritized CRO and Shopify improvements, landing pages, creative strategy, monthly reporting, and direct Slack access to Nick and Andrew.
$7,500/mo$100K+ a month
Everything in Foundation, plus email cadence expanding to roughly 8 to 12 campaigns a month, increased paid-media testing, an expanded CRO and landing-page roadmap, and deeper segmentation and retention work.
$12,500/mo$200K+ a month
Everything in Growth, plus increased campaign and promotional planning, more aggressive acquisition testing, expanded landing-page and CRO production, and greater coordination across acquisition, retention, and ecommerce.
$17,500/mo$350K+ a month
A more comprehensive partnership built around Coda’s increased acquisition volume, customer base, and operational complexity, with scope and priorities reviewed quarterly.
$25,000/moHow a tier change works. Eligibility is based on Coda’s trailing 90-day average monthly revenue, not a single strong month. When the average crosses a threshold, we review the expanded scope together before the new tier begins the following month. If Coda wants output beyond the current tier sooner, either side can call that review early.
It moves both ways. If the trailing average remains below a threshold for 90 consecutive days, the partnership returns to the corresponding lower tier the following month, and steps back up when the average crosses the threshold again. Above $350,000 a month, we’ll revisit the structure together as the needs of the business evolve.
Built for a long-term partnership.
Without a long-term contract.
Month to month. Either side can end the growth partnership with 30 days’ written notice. No long-term commitment, no cancellation fee. We want it to continue because the work is creating value, not because a contract requires it.
You own the work. Final approved design files, custom code, creative assets, and every account remain Coda’s property. Nothing essential to the operation of the business disappears if the partnership ends.
Phase 1 investment. The $17,000 build fee, $9,500 for the site and $7,500 for the email system, is due at kickoff, with work beginning once payment is received.
Growth billing. The monthly retainer begins when the new site goes live and is invoiced monthly in advance.
Built in your ecosystem. Shopify, Klaviyo, advertising accounts, and analytics all stay inside Coda-owned accounts. Coda simply provides the administrator or collaborator access needed for us to execute the work.
What we need from Coda. Timely access to brand assets, photography and video, product information, claims, pricing, policies, and platform accounts. Where content isn’t ready yet, we build with placeholders until it arrives.
Third-party costs. Shopify, Klaviyo, Stay.ai, paid applications, software licenses, advertising spend, and payment processing are separate from Liquid Lemon’s fees and paid directly by Coda. Media spend is never marked up.
Outside the monthly scope. Net-new builds, full redesigns, custom applications, photography and video shoots, and high-volume creative production are quoted separately and approved by Coda before work begins.

Olipop · Built by Liquid Lemon ↗A decade of
custom Shopify.
We've been designing and developing custom Shopify sites for about ten years. Every storefront pattern that matters, we've built, shipped, and refined dozens of times.
10+ yearsProven engine,
zero templates.
Nothing we ship starts from a theme. Over a decade of client builds we engineered our own private Shopify foundation for the unforgiving parts: cart drawers, upsell logic, performance. Only our clients get it, and every storefront is custom-coded on top of it. That's why your budget goes to design and conversion instead of re-solving solved problems.
Zero templatesBuilt around
your brand.
Because the foundation is already engineered, your budget goes where it matters: the front end. Every page, section, and interaction your customers touch starts from a blank canvas, built in custom code around your brand guide and references, then elevated with our own creative direction.
100% design focusBuilt and in production.
Klaviyo, handled.
We specialize in email design and retention as well. Figma-designed, Klaviyo-built flows and campaigns shipped for CPG and apparel brands.
